Organised by Innovation Wexford and The Fuse Initiative, the conference concept came about after a group of entrepreneurs travelled to Silicon Valley and knocked on doors to forge links with the diaspora in Northern California to help develop growth within the Irish SME sector. Innovation Wexford is a not-for-profit job creation organisation with a community focused approach to enterprise development. To date it has assisted in the creation of over 800 jobs and has supported the establishment and development of over 100 companies. Innovation Wexford is the registered trade name of Wexford Community Development Association Society Ltd. FUSE is an alliance of South-East entrepreneurs, which aims to ignite growth among regional businesses and attract new high-growth businesses to the South-East. We can do this by creating an exceptional culture of entrepreneurship in the South-East region.
Run by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, FUSE is delivering a series of practical initiatives including peer-to-peer mentoring, entrepreneurial master classes, idea generation sessions for new business opportunities and a regional networking database.
