Milk and Cookie Stories - The Secret Garden

Milk and Cookie Stories is so, so proud to announce the Milk and Cookie Stories Secret Garden, on the 30th-31st July 2011– 24 hours of the best storytelling, music and spoken word in the country!

Think storytelling and marshmallows around bonfires, music played beneath the apple trees, clowning, balloon animals, and of course cookies!

And because, as always, we're a volunteer group working for free, that means we can keep it cheap! €32 will get you membership - which gets you entry to the festival, camping and all the cookies you can eat. Please come, and tell all your friends!

More delicious details to be added over the days to come as we announce acts, speakers, performers and activities!

Membership can be bought here (from this very website!) Price is €32, but there are extra charges for online processing with you will be informed about before your purchase. This brings the price to just over €34. These processing fees go to Event Elephant, and are not retained by Milk and Cookie Stories. You can also purchase tickets from us directly at all Milk & Cookie Stories events for €32.

So what else do you need to know? Well!

-      There is a campsite

-      Parking is provided

-     Having said that, we will provide a bus service from Dublin City Centre to and from the venue for €15 return. More information will be released to attendees concerning this bus service closer to the event. Milk & Cookie Stories ♥’s the environment, and we hope you do too!

-     Bring comfy things! Blankets to sit on, bits and pieces to give you somewhere to relax.

-     Food? Well, dinner will be available for purchase on Saturday night, and breakfast as well on Sunday morning. Feel free to bring snacks!

-     No open fires, unless we set them. This means no BBQs, even disposables. Sorry guys! We have to keep the insurance guys happy.

-     BYOB is totally cool – although drinks will also be available for purchase from the venue. For cheap!

-     Forecast so far looks good, but we can’t control the weather (yet). Bring wet gear, just in case. We have some plans in the event of torrential downfall – but this is still an outdoor event. Be clever!

-     All sales are final guys – sorry! Membership passes to the event are non-refundable.
