Children England Annual Conference
We are pleased to announce that Sarah Teather, the Minister of State for Children and Families will be speaking.
This conference will shine a spotlight on the voluntary sector's innovative direct practice with children, young people and families. The vibrant agenda is packed with practical workshops, troubleshooting and advice sessions on various themes and topics, including:
• Latest thinking on neglect
• Working with 2 year olds
• Apprenticeships and training
• Surgeries on safeguarding, social enterprise and governance dilemmas
• How can the VCS engage schools?
• Mediation
• Will payment by results directly improve practice?
• “Tips & Tools” exchange with other practitioners
Also as it’s ‘The Right Year for Children’, contribute your ideas on how children’s rights are translated into reality in the work you do, or can be in the future.

Travel bursaries of up to £100 per organisation are available for Children England members to attend this conference through the Amos Fund.
