	Dennis Sabourin Current Position: Executive Director of the National Association for PET Packaging Resources (NAPCOR), a trade association dedicated to the promotion and protection of the PET package and the recycling of packaging made from PET plastic resin. Past Positions: From June 1984 to June 2004, was employed by Wellman, Inc. when he held senior management positions, which included Vice President of Wellman’s Trading Company, Vice President of Post Consumer Procurement and Recycling Industry Affairs, and most recently Investor Relations Officer. From June 1973 to June 1984 was with Celanese Corporation where he held sales and management positions in the domestic and international textile and related markets. From April 1956 to June 1973, he was employed by Lebanon Knitting Mills in a career that began as a summer and part time hourly worker and ended as a member of Lebanon’s senior management. Education: Dennis received his primary and secondary education in the parochial and public schools of Pawtucket, Rhode Island. He received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth in 1964 and an M.S. in Textile Engineering in 1966 from the Institute of Textile Technology in Charlottesville, Virginia. Professional Affiliations: Dennis is a past member of the Board of Directors of NAPCOR and founding member, and founding Chairman, of the Association of Post Consumer Recyclers where he served as Chairman for seven years. Dennis has been a frequent speaker on plastics recycling and has lectured on the subject at the Universities of Rutgers, Duke, University of Rhode Island and Yale. He has testifies before both houses on Congress and the state legislatures of New Jersey, Florida, South Carolina and California on the subject of plastics recycling. Family: Dennis and his wife Micki have six children and thirteen grandchildren and reside in Sonoma County, California.
	Paul Niedl Paul has twelve years experience in the plastics industry. He joined Starlinger in 1999 working in the sales division for recycling lines covering Central Europe. In 2001 he became Product Manager for AD*STAR lines, one of the product lines for the production of woven PP bags, and in 2003 became Area Sales Manger for CIS and Baltic countries dealing with both packaging and recycling machines. In 2006 he took on responsibility as Head of Sales for the “Recycling Technology” business unit and personally covers North America and the Middle East. Starlinger is a medium sized Austrian plastic equipment supplier that is privately owned. Starlinger is the worldwide leading supplier of woven Polypropylen bag production plants and a key supplier of recycling equipment with special focus on rPET pelletising and Polycondensation lines
	David Bargery Project Manager for Kreyenborg Group. David has over 20 years experience in the plastics industry. With a wide range of knowledge of plastics production processes including compounding, polymerization and recycling of plastics. Focusing on the developing the market for Underwater Pelletizing and melt filtration and Drying systems with a focus on polyester, polyamides and Bioplastics.
	Manfred Hackl Manfred Hackl, born August 6th 1968 in Linz/Austria, attended Vienna´s Technical University for mechanical engineering and graduated in 1995. After joining EREMA in the same year as Quality Manager, Manfred Hackl became Product Manager for PET recycling in 1998, with responsibility for both product development and sales in this division. More recently from 2004 to 2006 he was also Vice President of EREMA and was appointed CEO of EREMA in April 2006.
	Marcus Vogt Marcus Vogt, Sales Manager Infrared technology and plant engineering, joined the Kreyenborg group in 2005 and is a specialist for the unique IRD Infrared Drying technology, which is primarily used in PET applications for Crystallization and drying of PET Regrinds. Beside the global sales activities his focus is on process technology and development of new applications.
	Jim Johnson Jim Johnson possesses nearly 50 years of experience in the plastics industry, has won the prestigious SPE, Jack Barney award in recognition of his major contributions to the plastic sheet industry. He has held wide-ranging positions in technical sales, engineering, application development, and sales and marketing at Johnson Plastics Machinery, Reifenhauser USA, Davis Standard and EDI prior to joining PTi in 2004. Mr.Johnson has a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey.
	Sushant Jain Sushant Jain has 30 years of extensive experience in the plastics industry. He has held leadership roles focused on R&D, product development, process development and lean manufacturing with leading packaging companies. He has successfully developed and commercialized containers for food/nutritional products. Mr. Jain earned his M.S. in chemical engineering from Cornell University.
	Adam Cowart Adam Cowart, Sales Engineer for KREYENBORG Industries in the United States, joined the KREYENBORG Group in 2004. Prior to his current position, he worked as a process engineer for 2 well known textile manufacturers in the Southeast. Adam holds a BS in Polymer & Fiber Engineering with honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). Adam is responsible for technical sales and engineering support for the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
	Balazs Wolf Balazs Wolf graduated 2000 with a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Engineering at the University of Miskolc in Hungary. Initially Balazs Wolf started working in 2001 as a Research Assistant in the Chair of Mechanical and Environmental Process Engineering at the University of Paderborn in Germany. He acquired beside teaching duties his first industrial experiences in the Rubber Industry. (- His main research field was the Improvement of Dust-Stop Systems for Internal (Rubber) Mixers, Flow-Simulations by CFD and the Analytic and Recycling of lubricants.) Since 2006 he works with UHDE INVENTA-FISCHER AG in Switzerland as Lead Engineer and as the Expert for Rotating Equipments. Since 2010 he is Product Manager for UIF’s FTR® and responsible for PET recycling technologies.
	Michael Perl Michael Perl has worked for S+S Sorting Technology Department since 2007. He graduated in 2006 with Dipl. BW – Technical Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences in Deggendorf, Germany. He is the International S+S Sales Manager, responsible for the support of regional Sales Managers and Distributors worldwide. Together they offer Sorting Solutions and Sorting Equipment for the Recycling Industries. In addition he is responsible for the technical clarification of projects as well as organising exhibitions.
	Chandler Slavin After graduating Suma Cum Laude from DePaul University with a degree in Ethics and Social Justice in 2009, Chandler was employed as Dordan Manufacturing’s Sustainability Coordinator. Invited to be the co-lead of Walmart-Canada’s PET Subcommittee of the Material Optimization Committee due to her research on recycling clamshells, Chandler continues to collaborate with stakeholders to increase the diversion rate of PET packaging post consumer. Chandler is an active participant in the Walmart Sustainable Value Network, contributes blog content to SupplierHub.com—the closed portal website for private brand suppliers to Walmart—and has been nominated to the Sustainable Packaging Coalition’s Executive Committee. Chandler is the author of the high trafficked blog, recyclablepackaging.org, where she discusses her research and the intersection between ethics, packaging and sustainability; and, manages all Dordan’s internal and external sustainability efforts.
