IFSC - Golfing Society - Membership Portal 2011

Dear Colleague 
 
It is my honour to be Captain of the IFSC Golf Society for the golfing year 2011. We have some great courses booked and we look forward to seeing you all at our outings. This year, we will again be playing at three world class links courses in Royal Dublin, Portmarnock and The European Club. Parkland golf enthusiasts will enjoy the outings at Druids Glen, The Castle and Carton House. We have been able to secure two separate matchplay competitions which are restricted to members only, and I would like to thank Druids Glen for hosting the fourball matchplay competition for the Society and Carton House for hosting the singles matchplay competition. These are very popular events with numbers restricted so early payment of the €60 annual subscription is recommended. Payment of subscriptions and entry into either or both of these competitions are on this website. The Society offers an excellent opportunity to meet other executives from various sectors within the IFSC in a social setting. Excellent business and social relationships have been forged over the years amongst its members. It affords the opportunity to discuss issues of common interest as well as playing some of the best golf courses in the country.

I regret to inform you that Paddy Maguire has decided to retire as Secretary of the Society and may not attend all of the outings. He will, however, be in attendance at some of them as he has graciously accepted the Committee's invitation for him to become Honorary Life President. I am sure that you will all wish to join with me in thanking Paddy for the enormous contribution he has made to the success of the Society over the years not to mention the entertainment he has provided us with at each outing.

I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible at these outings and I would encourage you to ensure that at least one representative of your company attends each.

I hope you will enjoy our programme of outings for 2011 and seize the opportunities they provide to meet and network in an international atmosphere. I look forward to seeing you at the outings but, in particular, welcoming you to President's day being held this year in the wonderful surroundings of the European Club in June.
