Gorillas: The Gentle Giants
|
‘Chest-beating, tree-throwing, bull-charging, canine-bearing, lion-roaring, fierce-glaring, harem-hoarding, human-looking: thus were the gorillas described by the first Europeans to bring back tales from deepest, darkest Africa. From the time the ape was first discovered in the 1800s, the gorilla had people reeling with fright and delight.’
Ian Redmond, Martin Harvey, Letitia Farris-Toussaint and Praveen Moman – experts in their fields of photography, science, conservation and eco-tourism combine their efforts, experiences, knowledge and passion in an effort to raise awareness and help halt the decline of one of our closest relatives Gorillas: The Gentle Giants.
