President of Ireland, Mary McAleese will address this year's European Insurance Forum.

The European Insurance Forum 2010 offers another interesting programme with excellent international industry experts on March 29th & 30th next to be held at the historic RDS Concert Hall, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Solvency II and other industry relevant regulatory issues along with reviews on Insurance Market Opportunities Now etc will be addressed including indepth discussion and analysis of the key issues relevant to our industry in the current climate. The conference will explore The Obama Impact - The US Attitude to Europe and following on from two of the BRIC countries covered in last year's event, this year we will take the opportunity to review the emerging markets of Brazil and Russia.

This year's event will incorporate the introduction of a unique and interesting new format to end the first day before the drinks reception - a lively industry relevant debate incorporating two personnel of opposing views. And yes, as an attendee you will have an opportunity to vote the winner.

Many senior international re/insurance industry leaders will be speaking including influential re/insurance market personalities, risk managers, regulators, commentators, association representatives, along with tax and legal experts to address the issues facing the international re/insurance sector today.

This year, we are delighted to have the newly appointed Matthew Elderfield, Head of Financial Regulation, Central Bank & Financial Services Authority of Ireland participating - this event will be his first public address to the re/insurance sector since his appointment earlier this year.
