As part of the AELP membership offer, we organises exclusive half day events for our members throughout the year, e.g. Sector Forums or Special Interest Groups events.
The Members’ events have been operating for the past five years, and has a strategic/operational focus within an occupational footprint and or examines national programmes/new policies.
The Members’ forums provides an opportunity for all members to discuss a broad range of key issues and topics affecting all employment and skill providers in terms of curriculum reform, Level 1/foundation learning, employer engagement, adult skills single budget, qualification reforms, workforce professional development, SASE framework compliance, and new commissioning arrangements from the funding authorities.
The nature of AELP forums allows all members to participate; the Sector Forums are chaired by an appointed AELP Skills Champion who is invariably a senior manager from an AELP member organisation, with the skills expertise and knowledge of their occupational sector.
Full details of the Chair/Skills Champion, invited guest speakers, agenda and venue location can be found on the top tool bar.
