What degree of control?
Public Sector Travel, the web portal and information source for those that purchase travel and influence purchasing in the public sector, is to hold its next one-day Round Table event at the Novotel St Pancras on Tuesday 22 November, following successful events in Leeds in November 2010, Manchester in March 2011 and Glasgow in October 2011.
These Round Tables aim to bring travel buyers in government, both central and local, the NHS and emergency services and the higher education sector together with business travel professionals to discuss current challenges around the purchase and management of business travel.
Our November event will be the first to focus on a particular sector - universities - rather than a geographical area. It is aimed at buyers and managers of travel and fleet in higher education institutions around the UK and follows the publication earlier this year of Public Sector Travel's White Paper on university travel spend and our accompanying comprehensive online database of travel spend and policy.
The format will be a cabaret-style one day conference with presentations, panels and workshops by both buyers and suppliers.
Public Sector Travel aims to make this an event in which delegates actively participate so attendance is limited. Register now to guarantee your place. Places are free for university buyers. Delegate places for suppliers cost £295 + VAT (limited to 10).
Note that Engage round table events are only open to buyers and managers currently working for a public sector body as well as a limited number of supplier delegates. We reserve the right to cancel registrations from anyone not meeting the eligibility criteria or in excess of the capacity for supplier registrations, which for this event is set to 10.
