The annual Corporate Treasury and Cash Management Conference supported and endorsed by the Irish Association of Corporate Treasurers (IACT), will again host the very popular Treasurers Debate - a challenging interactive discussion panel featuring treasurer representatives from Ireland's top 1000 companies. Addressing significant issues facing corporate treasurers and their businesses today, this year’s event will review Ireland’s Changed Banking Landscape carefully considering its impacts for treasurers. We will examine Risk Management – What’s Needed Now in the New Challenging Environment; and as all eyes watch cashflow challenges, etc we will feature an interesting case study on Achieving Liquidity Solutions Through Innovative Corporate Treasury. This year’s event will also significantly explore Letters of Credit Alternatives as well as Diversified Funding Options, examining equity finance, loans versus bonds, private placement and debt factoring. We ask if the treasury sector is ready for the plethora of regulatory frameworks (both impending and implemented) and in this regard we are delighted to have Patrick Brady, Assistant Director General for Policy & Risk, Central Bank & Financial Services Authority of Ireland address the conference; this being the first time that the Irish regulatory authority has addressed corporate treasurers at this event. On additional regulatory regimes, the UK's Association of Corporate Treasurers Policy & Technical Director, John Grout will outline Basel III, OTC Derivatives, Solvency II, etc. Also of significance to all treasurers will be the careful examination of the imminent (and eminent!!) SEPA and Transfer Pricing deadlines. Not only will the Corporate Treasury and Cash Management Conference provide a great opportunity to hear from leading industry expert speakers, learn about what challenges today’s treasurer, what are the key areas of innovation etc, and join in the treasurers’ debate, it will also provide networking opportunities for attendees to meet other treasurers and finance directors, sponsors and exhibitors, etc.
