BCA UK: INVESTMENT CLIMATE IN AFRICA
With
Omari Issa , CEO of the Investment Climate Facility for Africa (ICF)
WEDNESDAY, 10th FEBRUARY 2010
ICF is the only pan-African body, explicitly and exclusively focused on improving the continent’s investment climate. It is a partnership between private companies, development partners and African governments, who work together to remove the barriers that exist to doing business in Africa. In just two years, the ICF has initiated more than thirty projects in eleven countries, as well as four pan-African projects and four special initiatives, which are addressing the fundamentals that prevent Africa fulfilling its investment potential.
A former executive at Celtel, the ICF and the World Bank, Omari Issa will speak about the strategy behind ICF’s success, the impact of its projects on doing business in Africa, and its plans for the future (also see www.icfafrica.org).
