Adams State Distance Camp

High School students from around the United States come to enhance their knowledge of distance running. While attending the camp, participants will have the opportunity to meet and learn from Coach Damon Martin (multiple National Title winning coach), nutritionists, world class athletes, and the footware designers for Puma distance running. Activities include: a daily run in various parts of the San Luis Valley, taking classes on running physiology, and organized games that are fun for all. Over the years, a camp favorite is visiting and running at The Great Sand Dunes National Park. Participants will be housed in the Adams State College Freshman/Sophmore dorms. All meals are provided through the Adams State College caffeteria, except dinner upon arrival Sunday, July 22nd. The Adams State Distance Camp is renown across the United States for being one of the top distance camps in the country.
