Afrikan Goddess Magazine has featured women from across the African continent on our front covers since January 2009. The women we feature are women who have availed themselves to a higher calling of selfless service to their communities, and who have accomplished achievements worthy of recognition.
We have interviewed and profiled over 20 goddesses (not counting our remarkable women) and beginning this year, 2012, we will recognize one of them with the coveted Goddess of the Year award. The award recipient this year will become the first award recipient in what is tagged to become the award event of the year for Africa's humanitarian women.
The Goddess of the Year will have her accomplishments tooted to a broad global audience, gaining her the special recognition and funding that she and her community deserve (and need).
The journey to finding the Goddess of the Year 2012 began in August 2011 and ended in January 2012.
