Verne chaired the renowned “Birthing of Giants” entrepreneurship leadership program at MIT for 15 years. Paul is founding partner of 4th Option, a consultancy company which specializes in building high performance management teams and enabling companies to successfully build international markets.

Paul is an expert at putting planning into action.

Paul developed and implemented the Fast Track Strategy process for Growth Businesses. This process has helped numerous Irish and International companies achieve success both nationally and internationally.

Paul is a highly experienced facilitator in organisation alignment, group goal setting, values development and strategic thinking and planning. With his team he has facilitated large scale workshops with more than 350 people in the room, working in small groups, on ground breaking projects. His work with larger organisations includes developing strategic plans with the GAA and Bord na Mona in 2008 as well as strategic thinking and planning projects with APC Schneider, Ericsson and others

Paul has worked with leadership teams in: fast growth companies, corporations with global responsibility, some of Ireland's oldest indigenous companies, a university, local and regional authorities.

In sport he works with coaches, managers and players to deliver high performance. He was part of the management team that brought Offaly its first Leinster Championship in 15 years in 1997 and its first ever National League title in 1998. Paul was Manager of the Offaly team in 2003. He worked with the Monaghan management and players to develop their growth plan. He is currently working with the Coaching Team and Players at Dolphin RFC in Cork; during his time with Dolphin they have moved from bottom 3 in the AIL Division 1 to contesting for the top position. He is facilitator for 2 Irish Olympic sailors and their backroom team who are preparing for London 2012.
