The AJ Moore and Nat Martin bands will be performing a special concert at London's legendary venue, 'The Troubadour', on February 26th. All profits are going to the aid of 'The Scot's Guards Colonel's Fund' which helps injured soldiers and families of the battalion affected by conflicts, past and present.
The evening will coincide with the release of The A.J Moore Band's first single 'Moving On' from the upcoming debut album 'Harmonics' which is set for release March 18th under FCL Recordings. The night will also see a special appearance by Scot's Guard Sgt John Norwood who made it to the final few on last years X Factor.
Its going to be one of the musical events of the month with some of the UK's finest musicians coming together for one glorious night. We really hope you can come support both the bands and the cause for which they are performing. Music will start at 7:30pm and finish at 10pm, so don't be late. Doors open at 7pm. If you wish to reserve a table please contact the Troubadour.
ABOUT THE CHARITY
The Scot's Guards Colonel's Fund was set up a year before what turned out to be the Battalions hardest tour in years, being deployed both in Iraq and Afghanistan. The fund which is led by The Colonel, HRH The Duke of Kent KG, enables the regiment to provide:
- Support to the families of those killed in action by responding promptly to problems of bereavement and hardship.
- Support to those wounded on operations, particularly those who have had to leave the army; to assist in finding them new employment and to help them become active family and community members.
- Support to the families of those seriously wounded or injured in prolonged recovery situations.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
The A.J Moore Band
A.J Moore is an artist of the highest calibre who has performed in some of the world’s most famous venues from The Royal Albert Hall in London to the People’s Theatre in Shanghai. He has earned the respect from his music industry peers and the admiration of fan forums while performing as guitarist for number 1 selling classical artists Hayley Westenra, Laura Wright, Jonathan Ansell, Lee Mead and Faryl Smith. Now he is set to embark on his own artistic vision with the release of his debut album 'Harmonics'. Find out more by reading the official press release.
A.J will be joined by top session musicians including Newcastle born Jamie McCredie who performed on 'Harmonics'. Jamie, who was the BBC young guitarist of the year, is a major force on the London Jazz scene recently finishing his Postgraduate Masters of jazz performance at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He is currently playing lead guitar in the touring version of the Michael Jackson Musical 'Thriller' and with Kid Creole. On drums we see Belgium's elite player, Dave Imby. Dave has played with most of Europe's top acts including Paul Michiels, Katie Leone, Kid Creole and Conrad Korsch. Now London based, Dave teaches at the famous Drumtech and is one of the most in demand drummers around. Last but certainly not least is Diego Rodriquez, a Colombian bass player who arrived in the UK in 2009 having taught in Bogota. Studying at Bass Tech, Diego is a superb player who never fails to amaze the audience. He, like the rest of the band is a player to listen out for.

The Nat Martin Band was first formed back in 2006 and started life as a blues covers band. Initially the band was just a trio with Nat Martin on guitar and vocals along with Marco Meniconi on bass and Owen Martin on drums, but they soon expanded this line up to include Jez Davies on keys. It was at this point that Nat began writing original material for the band, aiming to incorporate the elements of several musical styles that were close to his heart, specifically Blues, Jazz and Funk. Collectively the musicians in the band offer a number of different musical influences including Blues, Jazz, Fusion, Funk, Soul and Classical.
Over the years the band has been gigging extensively, including events for Boogaloo promotions and for London promoter Pete Feenstra. Collectively, the band's CV contains a number of credits including having worked with Chad Smith (Red Hot Chilli Peppers), Thomas Dolby, Bo Diddley, Suzi Quatro, Winston Blissett and many other artists.
The Nat Martin Band has now released its debut album entitled Don't Lose Your Cool, blending blues with the jazz and funk genres. We feel privileged to have become a part of the MGP Records family.
Both bands will be performing a variety of material from originals to famous covers. This is a real chance to witness some of London's finest musicians on their way to something special, and at an unbelievable price. More importantly the evening is helping fund a great cause. If you can't make the party then why not buy a donation ticket. You can buy copies of both albums on the night or why not purchase one while getting your ticket. We will give all the ticket money and £2 of each CD to the Scots Guards.
Come join the party.
