OK'S Knowledge Exchange Events are designed by you to address the issues you want to talk about. You bring your questions and business issues. OK provides a panel of experts. Together, we work out some new thought options for you to take away and apply. The next event will be looking at the changing way in which IT interacts with the business, and what it means for people working in IT. Places are limited and discussions are conducted under the Chatham House rule to ensure attendees get a real opportunity to discuss the issues raised in depth and relate the solution options to their own circumstances.
Our panel of expert, experienced practitioners will be discussing:
Knowledge Management: How does an organisation improve its knowledge creation, transfer and storage processes? What is a good framework for assessing and improving the people side of Knowledge Management within the department?
Cloud/SaaS: How are the core activies of an IT/ICT department within an enterprise evolving to meet the challenge of Cloud/SaaS based procurement and delivery?
Changing culture and behaviours: How does the IT organisation of an enterprise:
• change mindset from development and delivery to service management?
• plan for business continuity in a Cloud/SaaS world?
Contracting for Agile: A key measure of progress in Agile is working software. How should contracts and payment schedules evolve to take account of this?
What do we mean by 'Lean'?: Is it about cutting costs? Is it just another name for improved business process management? Is Agile Lean, or is Lean Agile? Does it matter? We won't be spending much time on what you call it but we will be considering the key ingredients for delivering successful and sustainable business outcomes from complex systems.
Join us to discuss these issues or email your own questions to
