Last man standing - Cork City Football Club

We are hoping to raise vital funds to ensure continued success for Cork City Football Club and encourage all Cork City supporters to enter the competition and to recruit friends and family members to join in.

If every City supporter entered along with 5 others we would raise a huge amount of money for the club as well as being able to offer a massive prize for the winner of the competition.
 
To play, you pick a team from the Premiership in week one. If they win you go through to next round where you pick another team (you cannot pick same team twice). If your team loses or draws you are out. Simple as that.

If you are successful in week one you will receive an e-mail with the fixtures for the week. You reply to that e-mail with your selection.

This continues until there is the Last Man Standing who picks up the prize money.

If more than one person is still standing after ten matches, then they share half the pot of all entry fees received. The other half goes directly to Cork City Football Club.

So, there’s the excitement of the contest, the chance to win a pot of money, and the opportunity to help the club’s fund-raising efforts – all for just €20 entry fee.

We would really appreciate if you could encourage any friends or work colleagues who may be interested to sign up as this would excitement and a friendly competitive edge to the competition.

Weekly updates will be posted on the official CorkCityFC.ie.

Rules:
1) Each week you must pick 1 team to win.

2) You may only pick each team once in a series(so if you pick Arsenal in week one then you cannot pick them again for the next 9 weeks)

3) If your team wins you move on to the next round. If your team loses, draws or you fail to nominate a team you are knocked out

4) There are 10 rounds in each series

5) The winner is the 'last man standing' or anyone left after series 10

6) The winner/winners receive 50% of the money raised with the other 50% going to Cork City F.C. There will be additional non monetary prizes available.

7) On the Monday before each game you will receive an email informing you if you have moved on to the next round. Simply respond to this email with your choice for that week by the Thursday of the week.

9) If all games end in draws on a given weekend all participants still involved will be moved onto the next round.

10) It costs 20 euro to enter. The more entrants there are, the bigger the prize fund so please encourage friends and family to sign up
