Australia Employment Expo 2011 - Nov 26/27 from 10 am to 5pm
The Australian Employment Expo at the Aviva Stadium November 26/27 is bringing the largest number of Australian Employers ever to visit Ireland at home time to Dublin. These employers are RECRUITING NOW for positions in Australia. Over 1,200 jobs are currently listed on this site and these employers will be attending the Expo and looking to hire…..
But FIRSTLY in order to maximise the benefits of the Expo for you please read the following TIPS carefully:
- Read the WELCOME page in its entirety. This will give you a really good understanding of what we are trying to achieve at this year's Expo.
- Hit 'REGISTER NOW' and pay your €10 attendee fee.
- Hit EMPLOYER INFO and look at the various sectors of business where you have expertise. The Primary areas of interest from employers currently is in the following Job Sectors:
Resources - Mining, Oil & Gas and Building & Construction with significant interest also in all medical areas such as Health & Wellbeing.
· Click on the area of interest. On the Left Hand tab the names of all the employers in this sector will appear. Click on to their site and read a little about them.
· Then hit the Tab that says Click here for XYZ Company jobs and go straight to the jobs page here you will find ALL the jobs that this particular employer is looking to fill. Click on the job you like to register your application and then send a CV by Hitting the 'CONTACT THE HOST' button and attaching your CV in an email to the employer. You MUST SEND the CV on application to ensure an interview.
· Wait for a few days to give the employer a chance to review your CV and revert to you by email.
· In certain cases, the employer may then ask you to attend a Video Pre Screening Interview. Don’t worry… all will be explained to you and this is very easy to do.
· Thereafter it is on to the EXPO itself for what will hopefully be a final interview for your job in Australia
Please note that in the vast majority of cases the employers will sponsor you for your immigration visa. So with a bit of luck you should be in Australia in 3 to 4 month’s time beginning a new life.
We hope to run further Australia Employment Expos in Dublin in early 2012 and significantly expand the number of employers who visit these shores to recruit Irish talent.
Please note the EXPO is open from 10.00 to 5.00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday Nov 26/27
See you there!
