When the last of a certain ticket type for your event is sold, EventElephant will automatically let you know. You’ve then got the option to go into the Event Control Area and make more of these tickets available.

When your event has completely sold out and has reached Total Event Capacity (this is set when you create your event), anyone attempting to buy a ticket will see this message:

You’ve got the option to go into the Event Control Area, increase the Total Event Capacity and make more tickets available. You can then email reminders to potential attendees and let them know extra tickets are on sale.

Creating promotional codes and discounted tickets
EventElephant lets you create promotional codes that can be used for discounts on any type of ticket you like. Creating promotional codes is really easy – it’s one of the simple steps in the ‘Create an event’ wizard.

You can attach a discount to a specific ticket type that relates to a specific marketing campaign or promotional offer. The attendee simply enters the code when they buy their ticket(s) and the discount will be applied automatically.

You can limit the number of tickets available for each promotional code, and set an expiry date for the code.

If you need to edit or modify your promotional code, just go to the Event Control Area for your event.
