Back 3. What happens when a ticket type is sold out?

You can set a capacity limit to the amount of tickets that you wish to offer for each event. When the capacity has been reached for the event or for the ticket type, then the system lets a potential attendee know that there are no more tickets left.

The potential attendee then has the option of contacting the organiser directly, and the organiser has the option to re-enter the system and increase the event or ticket capacity.

Organisers can then send email reminders to potential attendees alerting them to the fact that extra tickets are now available.

Back 5. Can I assign promotional codes to tickets?

You have the ability to add as many promotional codes to your tickets as you wish.

The organiser can attach a percentage discount to tickets that relate to specific marketing campaigns or to promotional offers. The attendees are able to use the code publicised in the promotions to receive a discount on their ticket price.

You have the flexibility to put a limit on the amount of tickets for each promotional code and also to set a date for when any particular promotion will expire.

Back 6. Can I automatically add EventElephant’s Attendee Management Fee to the tickets?

Yes the organiser can choose to add the fee on top of the ticket price.

You may want to keep your ticket prices at a certain rate to maximise sales revenue so you would therefore ask the attendee to pay the fee in addition to the ticket price.

You can choose to add the fee onto the ticket in the ‘create an event ‘wizard and when you do the EventElephant system will automatically make the adjustments to the tickets prices for you.

Back 7. Can I wrap EventElephant’s Attendee Management Fee into the price of the tickets?

The organiser can decide to wrap the fee into the ticket or booking price.

You may want to ensure that attendees pay no more than a certain published ticket price so it may make sense for you to include the fee in the ticket price.

You can choose to wrap the fee into the ticket price in the ‘create an event ‘wizard and when you do the EventElephant system will automatically make the adjustments to the tickets prices for you.

Back 8. How can I resend or view my booking details?

When you make a booking on an EventElephant event site, you will automatically receive a booking confirmation email, which you can print off and take to the event as a ticket. If you lose this email and wish to print it off again, go to the event site, and enter your booking reference number in the “Event Info” section of the site.

When you have done this you will be able to see your booking information and you will also be able to edit certain aspects of your booking details. (your session choices for example). You can then print this off and take it with you to the event.
